The crane adopts Q690 ultra-high tensile steel laser-welded U-shaped main boom. Its five-section telescopic arm stretches 62m, paired with a 19m two-segment lattice jib for a max lifting height of 81m. Finite element simulation reinforces the boom root, boosting lifting capacity by 7% versus older 120-ton models. Random sequential telescoping cuts boom setup time by 30% for frequent sand silo and bridge girder hoisting. Powered by a Euro III-compliant Weichai WP13H turbo diesel engine (375kW, peak torque 2200N·m), it runs smoothly on low-grade diesel common in Central Africa. XCMG's proprietary load-sensing hydraulic system optimizes engine coordination, slashing idle fuel use by 42% and overall consumption by 35% for all-day work at Congolese aggregate yards. High-temperature fluorine rubber seals eliminate pipeline leakage under 45°C heat. The 7-axle all-wheel steer all-terrain chassis measures 14.2m×2.55m×3.92m with an 8.2m minimum turning radius, easily navigating narrow temporary roads at Pointe Noire's stone yards. Heavy-duty off-road suspension delivers 45% gradeability, while cut-resistant 14.00R24 tires withstand sharp gravel during cross-site transfers. Curb weight hits 78 tons, and each outrigger bears up to 130 tons for stable lifting on loose sand. For coastal tropical conditions, the whole machine features seven layers of electrophoretic rust-proof coating plus marine anti-salt-fog paint, passing a 1000-hour salt spray test. Congo's booming highway, bridge, mineral plant and port yard construction demands robust medium-tonnage lifting gear. This 120-ton model stably lifts 48-ton precast beams at a 22m radius, matching daily workloads at Pointe Noire aggregate stockpiles. Its slim 2.55m width complies with Central African road limits, while split counterweights cut transit costs between Matadi Port and inland building sites. Standardized universal spare parts and 24-hour local XCMG service stations minimize downtime for sand transport projects.

The XCA120G7-1H enters mass production in mid-August. The first 12 units will ship to Pointe Noire and Matadi in early September for local infrastructure.
