(1) The hydraulic system of a hydraulic excavator requires a high static friction coefficient of the fluid. However, the static friction coefficient of ordinary anti-wear hydraulic oil is very low, which will cause the hook arm to move sluggishly and easily lead to safety accidents. (High static friction coefficient of anti-wear hydraulic oil)
(2) Construction machinery operates under high pressure, generally between 21-35 MPa, and up to 42 MPa. The pressure of industrial hydraulic systems is between 15-25 MPa. High pressure can cause the hydraulic pump to wear out quickly, have a short service life, and even fail prematurely. This requires that such anti-wear hydraulic oil have higher anti-wear performance. (Good anti-wear performance)
(3) Excavators and other construction machinery have a walking system, so the hydraulic system structure is compact, the oil tank is small, and there is no dedicated oil cooler. The working temperature is high, generally reaching 80-100℃. Industrial hydraulic systems have oil cooling devices and temperature control systems, and the oil temperature is 50-70℃. High temperature accelerates oil oxidation and shortens the oil change interval. Therefore, the oil is required to have better oxidation stability. (High antioxidant properties)
(4) Construction machinery mostly operates on outdoor construction sites, exposed to wind and rain, sand and dust, and water and solid particles easily enter the hydraulic system. Since the piston pump has precise clearances, hydraulic oil carrying particles can cause wear and tear on the piston pump, leading to power loss and eventual damage. This necessitates good oil filtration performance. (Good filtration performance)
