Chassis & Mobility
The HW210 runs on wheels, not tracks – a rigid undercarriage with two axles. Front axle is a steering drive axle; rear is a rigid drive axle. Both come from ZF, a known name in mobile hydraulics. Road speed goes up to 35.5 km/h in high range, 9.3 km/h in low. Two‑mode steering: normal for roads, crab for tight spaces next to buildings. Four hydraulic outriggers (stabilizers) – lower them on site, the machine stays level and won't rock while digging.
Engine & Hydraulics
Engine is a Cummins B6.7, 6‑cylinder, 150 kW (about 200 hp) at 2000 rpm, torque 890 Nm at 1300 rpm. Tier 4 final compliant. Fuel consumption is roughly 11% lower than the previous generation – thanks to an updated ECU and the EPFC electronic positive flow control system. The main pump is Kawasaki, max flow 2×221 L/min, operating pressure up to 380 bar. A one‑touch power boost gives extra digging force when you hit hard soil or rock.
Working Equipment & Performance
Standard bucket is 0.8–1.0 m³, good for trenching, loading trucks, and site grading. Maximum digging depth reaches about 5.5 m, and dump height clears the sides of most dump trucks. The boom and arm are made of high‑tensile steel, with grease‑sealed pins to extend service intervals. Piping for a hydraulic breaker or compactor is already installed – you only need to plug in the attachment.
Operator & Safety Details
Cab is ROPS/FOPS certified. Air‑suspended seat, automatic AC, and a 8‑inch touch screen come standard. Optional extras include 360° surround view and rear radar. On the safety side, the four stabilizers have automatic leveling – they won't retract accidentally. All hydraulic hoses are routed inside the boom and arm to reduce damage. Two dry powder fire extinguishers are mounted within reach from the ground.
