Product Introduction
A truck-mounted crane, also known as a truck-mounted lifting and transport vehicle, is a piece of equipment that uses a hydraulic lifting and telescoping system to lift, rotate, and transport cargo, and is typically mounted on a cargo truck.
A truck-mounted crane generally consists of a truck chassis, a cargo bed, a power take-off unit, and a crane.
Based on the type of crane, they are classified into straight arm truck-mounted crane and telescopic-boom models. Straight-boom cranes have a wider range of applications; however, due to their straight boom design, they require sufficient operating space and are best suited for open work areas. They are also suitable for long-distance lifting operations.

Product Highlights

Product Features
Truck-mounted cranes use hydraulic lifting and telescoping systems to lift and transport cargo. They can be quickly relocated and also serve as cargo transport vehicles, making them commonly used at stations, warehouses, docks, and other similar locations; they are also frequently seen at construction sites.
However, they cannot completely replace traditional cranes because truck-mounted cranes are modified from truck chassis, which limits the space available for the crane installation. They cannot be equipped with counterweights, and their booms cannot be excessively long. This results in inferior lifting performance compared to dedicated cranes. Consequently, truck-mounted cranes cannot handle large-scale lifting operations like dedicated cranes. However, by combining the lifting capabilities of a crane with the transport capacity of a truck, they can complete the full range of services-lifting, loading, transporting, and unloading-in a short time, meeting the needs of short-distance transport. This vehicle type is highly popular because it offers both the transport capacity of a truck and the lifting capabilities of a crane.
Furthermore, the price of a truck-mounted crane is significantly lower than the combined cost of a truck and a mobile crane, and subsequent expenses-such as diesel fuel, maintenance, driver wages, insurance, and administrative fees-are also relatively low. The owner can serve as both a crane operator and a truck driver, helping shippers save on costs.
Technical Advantages
Before use, ensure that the outrigger cylinders are fully extended and the outriggers are locked in place. The vehicle must not be suspended in the air while the outrigger cylinders are on the ground.
Before connecting the PTO, check that the control lever is in the neutral position. If the lever is not in the neutral position, return it to the neutral position.
Check that the shut-off valve on the hydraulic oil tank is open, and check the oil level in the tank. The oil level should be between the maximum and minimum marks.
Ensure the vehicle has sufficient fuel to prevent power interruption during operation, and check that the battery pack is functioning properly.
Before use, it is necessary to check that the safety devices are functioning properly to ensure the operator's safety.
