MIG/MAG welding wires for engineering machinery are introduced, including OK Aristorod 12.63 HP and OK Autrod 12.64 HP. These wires are designed to improve the welding performance of non-alloy and low-alloy carbon manganese steels, especially suitable for engineering machinery and other fields with stringent requirements for high strength and excellent low-temperature toughness. When used with C1, M20 and M21 shielding gases, the yield strength of the deposited metal can reach at least 500 MPa, and the impact toughness at -50 degrees Celsius is not less than 47 Joules.
The wires offer advantages such as easy parameter setting and fine-tuning, better weld pool flow, and significantly reduced spatter. The copper-free OK Aristorod wire can operate at higher currents to maximize productivity. The wires are available in 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm and 1.4 mm diameters and are packaged in 18 kg reels and 250 kg or 500 kg Marathon Pac™ barrels.
